Ski Safari Review

Ski Safari is a 2D skiing game where a tiny skier, better known as Sven, swoops down huge mountains while collecting coins, doing tricks to earn points and fulfilling achievements. To stay alive Sven must avoid getting run over by a giant avalanche which is almost always on his tail. This isn't easy only equipped with skis and ski poles and therefore our ski hero must have some help from the mountain habitats and machinery. In the mountains live animals which Sven can use to his advantage to gain speed and be one step ahead of the avalanche.

New Facebook look

Just wanted to show some pictures of the new Facebook look which is supposed to start rolling out and if you're anxious to have it you can go to the Facebook news feed page and join the waiting list. From the pictures below you can see that there are some nice changes, like the sidebar and I notice that there is more usage of photos and less text. Like for all changes on Facebook users are going to hate it in the beginning and love it in the end. This is an endless circle we will have to live with if we want to get better products because with advanced technology we often have to change things to make them look right.

SwiftKey Keyboard Review

SwiftKey is a great keyboard application for android and there is a good reason it sits in the first place for all Android applications on Google Play. Reviews

Reviews, who needs'em? Those who care if they get quality products rather than worthless piece of crap. The first thing I do when I'm interested in a product is to search for reviews on that certain product and in most cases there are valuable results which show great articles about the product and user experiences which tells if it's worth buying or simply finding another more valuable product instead.

Adsense and Insufficient content

One of many reasons behind the decision to build this website was to make a quick buck through Google Ads. It takes time to go through all the pictures, filter out those that aren't suitable, edit those that are semi suitable and upload them to the site. However this article isn't about the pictures and the process behind them because the site needs everything else but pictures, it needs more text, at least from Googles point of view. This has been made pretty obvious after sending Google Adsense an application three times and always receiving the same response, "Insufficient content".

Blogging again

I've decided to start blogging again. I'ts been awhile since my last blog and to be honest I didn't think I would start doing it again. But I've always wanted to have a site or a blog where I could post useful information or maybe somewhat useful. I've been thinking about what I'm going to blog about and the first thing that came to mind were articles about the issues I'm facing at work or similar situations relating to software development. For instance I've been having some minor problems implementing Facebook plugins on the site and I will almost certainly write about that experience and hopefully solutions.
